Experienced and Responsible Marine Engineer Wanted – 60° North Greenland
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Marine Engineer for a permanent position aboard our passenger vessel/hotel ship Sanatit, built in 1962.

About Us
Sanatit operates in South Greenland and is currently moored at Kangerluarsuk as a floating hotel.
60° North Greenland is a diversified contracting company specializing primarily in mineral exploration support. Our operations include diamond drilling rigs and the associated logistical support, such as a hotel ship, landing craft, camps, construction services, and skilled personnel. We are also deeply involved in our local communities, providing services ranging from snow removal to turnkey construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel's machinery and technical systems.
- Carrying out planned maintenance (PMS) and repairs.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations.
- Assisting with bunkering operations and general technical duties.
Qualifications
- Relevant maritime education as a Marine Engineer (Maskinmester or equivalent).
- Valid certificates of competency and medical certificates required for maritime service.
- Practical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
